One of my favorite songs on the Zero 7 album “the garden” is “waiting to die”; I love the lines
“Yes, it is true, death is everyone’s fate
But we’ve made it this far, it’s time to celebrate”
I quoted these lines the other day to someone who said she didn’t like to celebrate her birthday.
